If you’ve ever been on one of Paul Wood‘s tree tours with the Museum of Walking, you’ll know how interesting and popular they are. We’ve adapted to the times and are thrilled to be offering a guided tree tour for all to enjoy from home.
Join Paul and the Museum of Walking on a Virtual Tree Tour following the route of the ‘Haggerston Hop’, a trail which appears in Paul’s book ‘London’s Street Trees’. Paul will talk about the trees encountered along the way along with other fascinating urban forest anecdotes. The tour will be held on Zoom, and will be recorded too. It will take approximately 45 minutes, and there will be a chance to ask questions at the end of the session.
This virtual tour coincides with the publication of an expanded and revised edition of London’s Street Trees – Paul’s fascinating guide to the urban forest, signed copies of which will be available to order directly from Paul (see below).
There is no set ticket price on this Virtual Tree Tour – we leave it up to your discretion (may we suggest £8-£12) – just use the PayPal Donate button below:
All you need to do next is download Zoom then click through to this link a few minutes before 12 Noon GMT on Friday 10 April to join the Virtual Tree Tour Zoom meeting.
